ok im swapping an NP 231 into my 94 ZJ 4.0.... the 231 is from an 89
YJ which means i need a new front output yolk... so i figured.... call and ask the guy for a front output yolk for an NP231 that will fit my double cardon front DS and the dude is like.... [smilie=bal_cool.gif] ...... now telll me the spline count, diameter and bushings and i had ZERO idea what to tell him.... can anyone help? just brief me on what to ask for. thanks!

you could always see if your front yoke will fit on the 231. that would save you some time and money.

it might? i got mine out of an XJ, so i didnt have that problem, but its one bolt on either case to take that off and see if it lines up, its worth a shot to check it before you go and spend the money. i'll even give you the size 1-1/8 for the yoke bolt

update:.... didnt work, it needed a different output yoke, the one from the 249 was way too big...
