SOB! The PO told me that the ZJ was a '94, never thought to 2nd guess him on that. Was just out looking for the fuel regulator and it wasn't where is was supposed to be. Noticed that there were quite a few things that were different from my other '93 ZJs. Checked the door and sure enough its a '95!

'93 and '95 PCM aren't interchangable are they?

Hmm interesting, I do have a security light that comes on but I didn't think a '95 had chips in the keys. Are you sure about that?

I'll try it anyway.

Anyone know if the security system on the '95s differs from the '93-94s? I was just doing the old lock and unlock the doors like I do on my '93s.

IT WORKED! THANK YOU! This was driving me nuts! I don't think the key has a chip in it though as its not a Chrysler key but an Ilco copy. I think just leaving the key on for 10 min is what reset the security system.
