This is basically what it's going to look like, except I'm not going to wrist my arms. The gains are to minimal to warrant that kind of work. Hopefully I can keep this front end long arm, axle upgrade, build on budget and on time. I'm shooting for maximum of 2 months building (start to finish). My budget, $1300. That's front suspension done. Rear is getting clayton's triangulated... and I'm calling it a day there.

yes. yes they are.

2" DOM tubing is going on the arms (depending if I decide to cut the stockers or cover them)

BTW, these are the same joints Clayton uses on his Hard-Arms:

I know that's not the correct bung for the johnny joint. Where can I find a correct fitting one? 1 1/4"

Oh, and on budget doesn't include a new front shaft. Yes... that's right, an entirely new front end w/ long arms, full spooled, lockouts, and OTK steering for $1300... Do your homework.

congrats bro, are you going any higher or just correcting everything with the LA's? If you go higher what size tires are you gonna run? Oh dude, check my painting the ZJ page later tonight, ill have better versions of the paint scheme done...im home now using Adobe.

I'm going with RE 4.5" springs. The coil buckets are built into the radius arms, stock they'll already make my ZJ sit 1.5" higher. I'm also getting ACOS for up front. It's gonna be sitting at ~7.25" in the front, over stock. That's not including a new bumper, winch, etc.

I'm shooting for 36"s.

Hey... hey you....Psst.... I think I might have just bought an entire clayton's set-up.... psst. ssssshhhhhhhhhh.....
So does that mean you're going to be ditching the Ford radius arm set up for the front? Or are you going to be mixing it up with Claytons, Ford radius arms for the front and Clayton's triangulated 4-link rear? That would be an interesting set up.

Can't wait to see it. Sounds like you've been studying/learning/researching what you want for a while...

I'm only using the clayton sub frame and the rear setup. I'm going to use the radius arms from the hp44 and just weld some extensions on.

Some pics from GSSE.

That's cool you got your system already. I will be replacing all of the joints on my system also. I broke 4 heims Sunday on TRAIL 4!!!! I want to let the world know that 3/4" heim joints suck.......but I bet I am the only person that didn't know this.

Go with some of these:

It's what I'll be welding onto the end of my radius arm extensions. I just need to find some threaded bungs and jam nuts to fit.
