I just purchased a set of 4 Doetsch Tech DT3000 shocks for a F>R swap. Upon arrival, the shocks are fully compressed, with no wire or tie to hold them there. The arm can be pulled out, but seems as though they are "dead". All shocks i have ever seen are help compressed with wire until ready to install and then the wire is cut. My shocks have no gas pressure in or out. Are my shocks ok, or is something wrong. Need an anwser ASAP. Thanks, James

Sounds like they are junk.

some shock will be able to lock when full compressed and turned 90 degrees, or 180. try to rotate it and push to unlock it.

thats how mine came too, i also wondered about that :? , i could compress them and uncompress them in any possition

My Shocks (Rusty's) did the same thing but once I pulled them out you could not push them back in.

Aren't some shocks non-pressurized? IE- they don't extend by themselves? They just damp whichever direction they are actuated on?

They are fine mine did the same thing and work perfectly

The shocks are fine they just are not gas shocks.
