I just put in a new 3 core radiator and it runs hotter then it did with the old cracked one.It was 90 degrees and A/C on and it was running around 230-240.With the old one one a 100 degree day it would barely go over 210. Any thought's or is the factory rad. just better for some reason.

I put a 3 row hd unit on mine and noticed the same. My gauge only read around 160 before(its off about 40-50 degrees and I replaced the sensor but it is another sensor)and now I see about 175. I'm just happy I don't have to add coolant ever week :lol:

If the pressure isn't bleeding off it will be hotter.

I wish they made sweet aftermarket radiators for the 4.0L... so far I haven't seen any real takers.

Did you make sure to get all of the air out of the system?

I got mine from RadiatorExpress.com. The price was reasonable but it has no warranty unless a shop with a COMPLETE cooling system checker verifies everything so I'm out of luck. I think it was made in maylasia or singapore :? . Once again I am just happy to see the overflow tank is not going empty :cuddle:
