Thank you very much. So I assume that tube like structure extending downward from the perch guides the spring into positions? This is where I have significant rust/rot. The perch itself appears relatively intact and cleaned/wire brushed, lanolin coated and new isolator. My buddy at his welding shop can easily reconstruct that rotted tube. Oddly the bottom perched are in good shape and simply need cleaning, coating and new isolators.
**Any idea what part #3 is with bolt passing through it and its function ? Again thank you.

The tube, spacer washer, and bolt are part of the upper bump stop that keeps the suspension from bottoming out.
Part #9 should be hard rubber or plastic and is the other part of the bump stop.
Check some off road catalogs there might be replacement parts available.
While you have the suspension apart consider lift 1 or 2 inch spacers.

Again thanks Mr Mike. I spent 1 1/2 hr underneath today inspecting and power washing front and rear spring assemblies. Of interest the right rear upper and lower spring perch assemblies appear intact with mild/moderate rust to that downward tube-easily restorable wit wire brushed and fluid film coating. However that tube spacer is also non existent on right rear like the left side. Bottom perches look great(kinda weird). Isolators shot, upper and lower, dry rot and 1/2-1/3 missing. The front upper and lower perches look pretty good but I won’t know what under the lower perche isolators until I pull springs. I’m focused on rears first as I hear thudding like sounds over big bump and potholes.
part search. I spent 2 days searching rear upper perch and and spacer/bolt- Rock, Rusty’s, Mopar(US and Canada), many many other sites- no where to be found. I got MOOG isolators sourced and lower front perch overlays. Stumped on rear upper perch assembly.
Lift: I am the original owner of this pristine 01. If I were 40 years younger I would probably go with 1”…hahaha
Thanks again
