I think this link will work, if not I will try again. I have started to build on a 93 grand. Pic show a re 4.5 before and after. .So. got to drive it with no shocks, fun but not recommended ??''. Got shocks and got D W at speed with bumps ( was not able to get speed with out shocks, whole jeep was trying to throw me out ) Maybe some small alignment mishap!!!!!!! OK went and reset angels and trackbars, also replaced the 4 tie rods and hooked up the steering stabilizer shock. So now the front end is all new except for the 2 upper bushing that did not get changed with the kit. Sweeeeeeet its a jeep again. Have some vibration at high speed, from the drive line. Ordered SYE from woods, should have in my hands for Sunday, have to work sat. So Iam a good wrench, nothing special. I saw the directions with pics of how to do the SYE.< O M G> Is this easier than it looks or should I have it done at a shop????????????? I have time, as in I don't drive it to work. But I want it to last and not become a problem later!!!!!!!!! If Iam just rambling then I have had all most 2 meny beers ****** thanks any input would be helpful [smilie=1felix.gif]

It may just be me....but I think your rear axle may be a bit off camber. Did you install rear adjustable control arms? If so what length did you set them to? Looks good by the way.

Thanks so the link worked. Ya they are adjustable, And are set at the starting point. ( the directions had a lenght to start at ) I plan to set the angle the same as my old cherokee,( so much easier with leaf springs !!!)got a angel reader now should be OK. I am sure with enough tries the adjustment would fix the vibration. Hey output seals are only $10. I have always wanted a SYE so this was my chance. So has any body done one? mine also has alot of miles and should be checked ( I have a new chain 2 )

Pulled t-case Friday night. Started soaking the front yoke nut. So my Saturday work got cut Short. So I did the SYE today. Yes very easy!!! As long as there is no leaks that is. I will let it dry over night and install on Sunday. As a test I want to drive it before changing the rear angel. I will change it anyway, just want to see a difference with only a drive shaft change. OK I have to say it--- my shaft is a WOODY---- Thanks for your time.[/img]
So as it turns out 11-13 would be a good angle for the rear drive. Who would have thought there was a angel #? So the starting point was right on with this re 4.5 lift, and 31" tires. T Woods SYE 100% fixed all vibrations. I still removed upper and lower arms to check lenghts, and tighten nuts. Went and tested flex and got 24" before lifting passenger rear tire, with all sway bars on. Its going to be OK. Also had a oil leak from the pan. Had complete steam clean done before it got home. R&R sweeeeet. Got to love it when you don't Even need a jack!!! Next I would like to do lockers and gears. Lots of $$$$ and that sucks!!!! I am very ready for super 35 with ox!!??. I have done some testing and found that I am spoiled with lockers, and will never wheel with out them. So now I am stalled. this weekend i get brakes, pads, turned rotters, and fresh fluid. Is it bad if i copy that front bumper on WJ rockkrawlers post? :) [smilie=bal_cool.gif] Have welder will modify.
P.S. Got alignment ( he said I was very close ) ( blowing smoke somewhere) The front end fells much lighter and over all better!!!
