On my new setup, I am going with EBC yellow in the front and green in the rear. I decided to get OEM replcement rotors, and spend the money for the EBC pads
 
I have a 8.8 going in the rear and a waggy 44 in the front. The 44 rotor is larger than the 8.8 so it will be doing more of the stopping power. Also my theory is that most trucks/cars used to have discs in the front and drums in the rear, so the front must pull more of the stopping load. No real data to back any of this up, just my thoughts.
