The power comes from the flasher to the switch. You cant use the stock switch to provide a constant 12v to the cornering lamps. If you take apart the column you can use the lever to actuate a secondary switch providing a relayed 12v to your lamps.
 
Yikes! If you like your grand don't take any electrical ideas from a Cadillac. Only old British wiring is worse. :mrgreen: I think it should be easy enough to use the turn signals to trigger a relay to power your turning lamps. Let me take a look at mine and see if I can make you a diagram. Give me a week or so and I'll have exactly what your looking for. I did automotive electronics for about eight years so I think I can come up with a good solution for you. I'm slammed for the next week and a half but if your patient I can draw it up for you.
 
Really? I have never seen such a thing. That would've been very helpful with a lot projects I've worked on! Let me know where you find that and how much it costs. Thanks
