Looking good, I have never seen spring retainers on the top like that. I usually just see people run a limiting strap when they have a problem with dropping springs out. Very well thought out and built.

If you decide to let the springs run loose for fear of overstretching them, you can always use urethane to keep the isolators in place so they do not change positions.

This looks really clean. I love how it is turning out.

I am jealous...I am still waiting to get mine back, the shop is having troubles with the rear gears. Do you know what brand of gears they used in your rear? I believe you are still running the aluminum rear as well.

Those look nice. I think They would look terrible in the salted winter roads of Utah...the salt here kills everything. Black spray paint is what we use to cover everything up underneath, I wish my grand was as clean as yours.

I am still having troubles with my rear gears, they sound like garbage. Six States is on the second set of gears (Yukon 4.56) and they still make noise. They aren't too bad at all when you are on the throttle, but there is a pretty bad whine when decelerating after driving at freeway speed (rear 44HD). Did Desert Fab run into any problems when they were setting up your gears?
I don't know if this is your DD or if you ever get it up to freeway speeds, but do you have any gear noises at 60+ MPH or on decel after being at freeway speed?
