2013 Grand Cherokee Limited Hemi and
Right now it is setting with the negative battery cable unhooked.
Don't know if I f'd up while I was trying to reset 4WD and traction control warnings earlier in the day or what.
Figured we'd drive a little after the cleaning and inspecting hubs and transfer case wiring to see if it cleared warning.
Wife drove us to dinner and everything was OK just warnings on dash.
Come out of the restaurant and key fob won't open door.
She takes the metal "emergency" part of the key out of the fob, manually unlocks door and BEEP BEEP there goes the flashing lights and horn blasting.
Got everyone's attention
Probably 10-15 minutes as I f around with key, fob, switches, finally yank the negative battery cable.
Google WTF to do and pull push button, insert fob, and we are on our way.
Both of us "pretty stressed".
Once home undid the battery cable again and will see what we get this morning.
Seems like some crazy "logic" used for the lock, ignition, security set up.
