The other day my jeep stalled coasting down a hill and wouldnt restart. I thought it would give me a code but it didnt.
After a tow home it was time to see whats wrong.
My gas light was on and the OD off light was on.
Disconnected the battery and its stayed on.
I filled my tank and went about 40 miles before it stalled so i know theres gas there.
I have fuel in the fuel rail cause I checked that.
After it got dark I checked to see if there was spark. No spark
Today after work i purchased
New plugs
Wires
Distributor cap
Rotor
Coil
Installed all these and still no spark
I also purchased a crank sensor but didnt install that yet (ran outta daylight)
Will the crank sensor fix this?
Any tips or tricks on how to install this? I heard it was a PITA.
The stock one was replaced 4-5 years ago by the dealership.
Whats the life span for these sensors?
I heard its on the transmission bellhousing around the 12 o clock position, is this correct? :?:

Ouch

Remove the valve cover you will have an easier time getting to it... its behind the passenger side head on the transmission bell housing.

i think thats what it is unless for some reason your alarm is engaged. and isnt allowing your vehicle to start....

stick the key in the drivers side door lock unlock lock unlock lock that should disable it.....

Good Luck!
