Is the 45 spot rule strictly enforced?
Mack,
It is. There are BLM reg's stating that any group over that size must have land use studies, insurance, and all sorts of other crap that would make GSW anything but the great FREE event that it has been for years. Last year I don't think we ran into too many issues with the people not being able to attend because there wasn't enough room. Registration should be opening up soon, so just make sure to register quickly, but if for any reason you aren't going to be able to make it, please let the planners know so that we can open up the spot to others who may want to go.

I won't have the time with the new job and all to drive out (and the jeep may not be ready by then anyhow...) but I will most likely fly out there for Wed-Sun and hop some rides....

Tim

Tim,

If you get to GSW 2004 and need a ride, be sure to check out the White 2002 WJ with Texas license plates and the USMC decal on the rear window. The owner owes you "big time" for all the help you gave him at GSSE 2003, and would be more than happy to split the GSW driving with you ...

... as long as you don't challenge Cody in it.

Thanks for all of the offers! I knew that finding a place to ride wouldn't be too challenging!
Jim-
Glad to see you'll be out there with the new ride! I may just have to take you up on that offer of some seat time.... :D I'm thinking that GSW 2005 might see the next incarnation of my jeep on a trailer headed west....

Looks like we've got 45 vehicles signed up, although not all are confirmed as of this posting. If you're not already listed, you'll be on the waiting list.

Marlon,
I'm leaving at 5am on Tuesday and driving straight through to Moab. You're welcome to caravan with me. I believe that Gary Prater is also leaving Tuesday but he will break it into two days.
