Tom and I talked about this last year - figured it was only a matter of time... Grand grill and long wheelbase come to mind...

20 hrs of driving....No Sweat! As long as I am not in Iraq or some other God Foresaken place.....

When Do we pre register? I gotta meet some of you knuckleheads.

Is there a prefered camping spot? I would not mind reserving my spot now.

Alaska, registration probably won't open up for another couple of months, maybe Tom will chime in here and give us a better idea when exactly. As far as camping, there are many choices, there is a campground in town, close to where our daily drivers meetings are, I think the name of it is "The Canyonlands Campground", they have tent sites and cabins, pretty cheap (edit, I just looked at their prices for cabins and for not too much more, you might be able to stay at Super 8), here's their website.
