Lets see if anyone can help me out on this one since it is pissing me off
big time!

Here is my vehicle:
1993 Grand Cherokee, 4L Engine, AW4 Automatic Tranny, All-Time 4wd TC

Just two weeks ago I swapped out the tired 4L for a stroked engine which had
1500km on it and had been sitting for about 7 months. It fired up no
problem after the swap and has been running like a dream. I noticed from
the very beginning that there was a slight ATF leak but wasn't able to pin
point it since I ran out of time. I had figured it was a tranny line or
something. The annoying part is that it drips right onto my friggen exhaust
pipe which means I get a nice puff of smoke on each drip while driving.

The other day I cleaned up the undercarriage in hope of finding the leak and
noticed that it appears to be coming from the bellhousing. I further
dwelled on this and rememberd that the smoke got worse when coming to a stop
which makes sense since there would be a little more fluid getting released
that was sitting at the bottom of the bellhousing.

Now, during my diagnosis of where the leak was I noticed that my Torque
Convertor bolts were a little loose so I tightened them up nicely. I also
made sure that the Tranny to Engine bolts were nice and tight.

The Jeep did not leak before the swap so I can only assume that it is
something that I did. Anyone got any ideas on what the hell may be
leaking?? I am thinking it has to be contributed to the torque convertor
somehow!?
