Having problem w/ the ZJ after disabling the ABS. Theres a clicking sound at the front area where the fuse block is (passenger side). Reinstall the relays and it stop. Is this normal or Im missing another relay somewhere.

1997 ZJ,V8

I just pulled the relay in the main fuse panel on mine last week and got no clicking or any adverse effects accept the ABS light on the dash. GL

Thats what I figure. Last time I took the relay out of fuse block at the engine compartment when off roading no noise and brakes were normal. It maybe something else. I heard many have done this and no side effect or whatsnot to the CPU or brakes when swapping axles.

I notice the battery being weak due to long time being off. Maybe its battery related noise?

When batteries get weak they can cause some strange things to happen. So it maybe. I would have someone run battery check on it and see what they say.

Hoping its the battery and not the CPU freaking out since i took all ABS sensor off. We charge the battery for about an hour and connect it. Maybe it needs a longer charge for the battery to hold the charge.

Battery!!! - dead cell after only a year use, got a new replacement (warranty) and all things normal. ABS light 's still on :? I guess black tape or quarter will do the work for me.
