i am about to buy this WJ by my house...below are the stats on it...what do you think?
it has this weird sound when you put it into reverse....it makes a buzz type sound for maybe 1-3 seconds...it did it sometimes when i put it into drive, but was pretty consistant when putting it into reverse....i asked him about it, and he said they all did that....we have a 99 I6 already, and it doesn't do that....i told him that and he showed me another 99 4.7L that he had....sure enough, it did the same thing....
is this something i should not be worried about? or what?
he told me that he would throw in a 6 month powertrain warranty for free...i figure i would just get it and tow my YJ a lot this summer...if the tranny was bad, it would probably go within that 6 months...
the brakes were also all warped, and he said he would fix those if the mechanic said they were not safe to drive with....

I plan to trade in my 1994 YJ for it...and he is giving me $2000 for it...so $6999 is the new price...i will probably talk him down another $500
