I'm pretty sure that I need a new adjustable track bar because I just put a 4 inch lift on few months ago and my coils are not straight up and down, I was reading on a forum that if they are not straight up, but at a slight slant, then your axle isnt centered correctly. Well my sway bar is pulling towards the passengers side and its rubbing against my frame, no matter how many times I try to space the sway bar back, it ALWAYS seems like its wanting to get pulled over to the passengers side, and its hella noisy too, it squeaks when the sway bar is rubbing against that frame, I got new tires put on, my alignment is so off, the passenger tire is already showing wear, and they are 3 months old. I went to Firestone to get a alignment done, and I am 12 degrees off on it I was told. They had no clue why I was that far off either. The instructions just told us to drill over like a 3/4'' over and just bolt the stock track bar on to the right of the existing hole. I am still confused as to whats the cause of my sway bar sliding over so much to the point where its rubbing, why my coils are not straight up and down, and also why I am 12 degrees off. I was also told that the control arms are too short, however I don't see why the lift would come with short arms, it came with arms. Thanks.

I would get an adjustable front trackbar. Did you disconnect your steering when installing the lift? Lifting it won't cause your allignment to be off that much. Some will agree that you should only have to recenter your steering by turning the draglink. Measure from the edge of the tire to the shock tower.(same spot on both sides) to determine if your axle is centered. If it isn't, you need to put the adjustable trackbar on. Also...don't use a drop pitman arm unless you put an equal amount of drop on the frameside trackbar mount!!!

Oh okay, sorry I am new to this suspension and all, lifting etc, a drop Pittman arm, that basically drops the pre-existing stock track bar down? Wanna say my lift kit came with them.
No, the drop pitman arm has to do with your steering. It drops your draglink down, which controls your steering.

The only way we're going to know what's going on with your ZJ is for you to post a picture, without a picture, we're just guessing.

But right off the bat, you need adjustable trackbars.

As for the alignment issues, I'm not too sure what could DIRECTLY cause that, but for those endlinks scrubbing, I have to same problem, which is and was caused by my trackbar. Switch to an adjustable one such a double sheer setup (KOR or IRO) and you outta be good. Just sounds like your axle is being shifted to one side :D

At 4" you might also consider a pair of adjustable lower control arms up front to regain you caster. Your current change in caster may have affected your toe-in a little.

Alright sorry guys I have been busy with the Grandma coming down and being in the hospital here and all. I will try to get on a picture or two on tomorrow, I really appreciate your guys' advice, I thought for awhile that noone could help :(

On the front you need the adjustable trackbar, but on the rear you could just get a drop bracket, which drops the bar's mounting point at the frame to correct for the leftward pulling of the axle. Since you'll be spending money on a new front one anyway, get the Currie one, since it has a stronger johnny joint that works with the stock bracket.:D

Save the $ and get a rear adjustable as well. Those brackets are not that strong, and often bend or break. Those who wheel their Jeep end up building a triangulation brace for their brackets after they brake them. Adjustable is the way to go.

You can lift a Jeep cheap, or you can lift it right.
