Need some opinions please!
Getting a new front track bar in the next day or so...
RE Adj. T-bar?
or
JKS Adj. T-bar?

JkS seems to be pretty expensive but i have herd good things. RE is a little cheaper, but i haven't herd much about RE front T-bar.

should i go the extra money or would the RE be just as good?

Well, just got the JKS 1"-3.5" track bar ordered. should be here within the next 3-5 days.
Any tips on how to remove the stock one and put the new one on?? I thought about putting it on a lift, then taking the out. Which i think would even out the axle close to perfect, then put the other one on and adjust it to the bolt hole. tighten it up. and get it aligned?

It will need to be on the ground with the weight of the jeep on the springs. If you do it on a lift the axle will be much lower than it is at ride height so when you put the jeep back on the ground the axle will be off to the passenger side. I made that mistake the first time I straightened my steering wheel.

alright thanks conedog!
Well some bad news... i was just notified by Quadratec that my T-bar is on back order for a month!!
I plan on calling in tomorrow and canceling my order and buying for KOR.
BTW: by taking the rear sway bar off, would that cause any problems? It's a DD...
I know you want to keep the front one but i havn't herd anything about the rear.

You won't gain much by removing the rear sway bar. Your jeep is a DD, so I would not recommend removing the rear.

Ive got a JKS trackbar for a lifted xj, know if it will fit a zj?? If it will ill sell it for $100 plus shipping

Im not exactly sure there are no part numbers on it, by looking at it I would say 3 or 4 inches, I was going to try to put together a lift and put it on my co-workers zj for him but he got laid off so his plans have changed

thats what im not sure of, it was attatched to my hp30 when I bought it, but I work with a guy who just bought a zj that has a 5.5" lift and held it up to it and it looks like it would fit it so it might be the 4"+ one, which might work for you if your still thinking of going higher...

well the guy I work with is on short arms and has 5.5" and it works pretty good, the ride isnt as good as mine on long arms but its not completely horrible, he just ordered 33's for it yesterday

I think a lot of it has to do with which short arm kit you get though too...

A friend of mine is going to do all the axle swapping because I don't have access to a welder.

As for your track bar, look at it like this, if it is longer than your stock one then your axle will be more centered than it is now...

On going any higher on short arms, I wouldn't. If you do any wheeling, you are eventually going to rip the control arm brackets off the unibody because the angle of the arms is so high and puts so much stress on them.
