hes stiffening the 'frame' asap, putting a cage in whenever he can get it in, and hes only on 37s. idk what hes doing about steering, his works great now so hes not worried about it (besides he had a dryrotted line that leaked all weekend)

he just put them on, first trip (you can see how clean it is in the last pic underneath beforehand) he actually finished the front wednesday before the trip.

URE isn't enough to twist anything up at all, but hes got airshocks rear that shiz on everything. theyre SICK flexing. its a trailer queen( that tag on the back hasn't been registered since 05 )

tinted my friends windows on his bronco the other day, which lead me to find some DIY tint for myself instead of paying to get it done. I did the windows for him for the most part, and they were sheets that had to be cut

$13 to tint my front windows, verses $110 to get it done. I'm confident enough to risk the $13, with a lifetime satisfaction guarantee

I dunno dude it just seems like buying used suspension parts is never a good idea. It seems like youve had to replace too much or is just me? Good joints otherwise :D

incase you've never been out of ohio, it does get above 40 degrees in the south. it will help alot with temps in the summer when its 100+ and in the sun all day, plus its alway bothered me that the fronts dont match the rear

plus, ima G :D

well as i suspected, the precut tint made it extra difficult to put on.

looked great, perfect match in getting 20%, just super hard to put on by myself...so it had cracks in it and so i ripped it off...only $13 loss. probably going to get it done professionally and sell my subs to fund that, and then get something more crisp and sharp instead of 2 12's for noise.

background-on sunday, i was fishing and i was on the side of a 2 lane highway by a lake

story- so i'm leaving, and i pull out onto the road, which is probably a solid foot higher than the shoulder of the road, and the force rips the johnny joint out that i had just replaced last week. the lock nut had come up a little on the JJ, and the impact just ripped the last couple threads off it because i didnt have very many in it (dumb).

so i'm sitting on the side of the highway after wiggling my way back off with 1 LCA LA apart and my rear axle moving back and forth under me.

pull the JJ off and put it back in and then get it all squared away, all put back together the easiest way it fits in there, which is about an inch more threaded in than the other side. so i've been riding around town crooked as hell as my rear axle is to where the pass tire hits the rocker, and the driver rear hits the bumper difference...so i fixed that this afternoon

by myself....

note-

floor jack holding weight of jeep off the ground an inch or 2 or so.

hi lift only holding the weight of the rear of the jeep up a little bit from ride height, so that the rear axle can be adjusted side to side

tow strap that i had around both axles on pass side pulling them together to get the arm to fit to the bracket that i had gotten them the same length (34" bolt to bolt)

then as im pulling the tow strap, i had to push the driver rear tire backward to spin the pass side closer more, then holding the arm to the bracket with my knee, and then sliding the bolt through at the same time.

i'm proud of myself

You = bad luck

Sorry man, you can't catch a break, but at least you fixed it by yourself, good job.

naaaaa i have good luck

its just a jeep :D

Nah I would have to agree on the bad luck side of things man. Ive never heard of anyone having these sorts of problems. I wouldnt call it a Jeep thing as the Jeep itself has nothing to do with a bolt lacking threads :D. Cant blame the Jeep for user error
