gotya, well regardless, it'll be fun...yeah, that extra weight will really weigh down the ride...i need to do the same. nice build and thank you for your service.
Thanks man! And ur welcome..

As for the extra weight....???? What the cage? Oh trust me, the 5.9 more than makes up for it. Plus the weight of the 4 doors should about balance the weight of the cage. Either way, 4 low with the 4.56s and healthy motor.... weight is no issue...

BTW..... fun fact... she weighed 4203 when I moved it down here. That was empty and 1/4 tank of gas.

I actually haven't had the chance to install yet. I had a buddies wife pick them up for me to save money on shipping (we're both in CO) while I was deployed. When I got home and back from redeployment vacation she went on vacation. I'm picking them up Friday evening. I'm actually really excited to get them and install them.

The mud isnt perminate.
Hahahah! You keep telling yourself that.

I don't care how much you clean it, there will always be more places to clean out once you get it all muddy. Mud goes EVERYWHERE with the doors off. I never quite understood how mud chunks would get onto my radio, but it still managed to almost every time I've been wheeling with the doors off -- and I try to AVOID mud where ever possible.

Make sure you pay special attention to cleaning the undercarriage when you do your weekly cleaning. At least you aren't in the rust belt, but mud eventually eats away at metal. Not to mention the fact that it seems to accelerate wear on basically any moving component. Did I also mention the fact that you will probably always have dirt fall into your face every time you climb underneath it?

Don't forget to keep tabs on the condition of your fluids -- particularly tranny and diff fluid. If they aren't properly vented, there is a good possibility of a bunch of water getting in.

Got the doors on last night! First off I have to say, these things are TOP NOTCH. The packaging was amazing on them. Padding and nicely wrapped and box. They even came painted and fully assembled. One side even went on with no adjusting the heims/ hinges to get the stricker to hit. The other just needed minor adjusting. They work AWESOME. You can open the door and put your full body weight on them, and they still swing and dont deflect at all. BTW those hinges are 3/4 heims, so I know they will handle some stress. The latches are ingenious too! Thanks again Neil, aka Fort CollinsZJ for making them. Look him up on mall crawlin as a vendor. :punk:

Looks good. I want to do the same thing with tube bumpers front and rear. Have you seen Neils rear doors. I ordered some already. I'm happy to have a full set now.
Ya man, those rear doors are the shiznit. I cant wait till I get to order some. Neil is knocking out awesome products.

Those tube doors are great looking. Also the bumpers are sharp as heck.
Thanks man. The front bumper is a custom, but that proto-fab matches pretty darn good.
