Stoop it remains then! And yeah, the Obama figured why not throw free money at new home buyers to put ourselves into more debt! Finally the system worked for me :D Still have yet to get Maxx's DD over there.

Post some pics. Wish I would have gotten a check, lol.

After I get married I will buy a house. "The Man" takes too much of my money right now. Working a lot and being single sucks for taxes...
Of the house or the jeep? And yes, single male tax bracket sux!

So my WJ on the right is sitting embarrassingly low next to Maxx's and Pat's jeep. I have my original 5.9 wheels and tires, I think 16x7 on 265/75/16's relaxing in my basement. My stock tires are about to go on the dubya and I'm thinking about putting these bfg km's on my ride and using them for my dd. What I'm trying to figure out is if these will fit with either stock or with a BB. It won't be wheeled ever since I have the 5.9 but I'm trying to figure out how I can fit these tires with the least amount of trimmming and hopefully the smallest amount of lift. Any ideas or thoughts? :D

BB? Or f to rear...
Where's the niner??
Whatever I think I can put under the WJ to make the 265's km mt's "fit". Does a F>R swap work on ZJ's as well as WJ's? Still got the 5.9, I just figured use these tires and wheels I have laying around instead of buying new one's all together for my DD.

Max has smaller tires then pat?
That pic makes the TJ body look tiny vs Zj
And Maxx has 40 LTB's, Pat has 42" Irok's :D

Let's see the Z! F the Dub lol. I'm pretty sure f2r works. Only diff is the wishbone upper rear CAs. What's the American inch size of those? Lol aint gonna do yer math...... BUT 31s fit w proper back spacing slight plastic bumper trimming for on road use .. BB cherry w sway bar coNnected off and f2r all good slight trim hammer at full stuff

So with the front to rear, would I need to grab some V8 WJ coils since mine is only the 6 banger? What's the cherry you're speaking of and do I need to have the disconnects? 31.65 is the metric conversion for the tires btw.

Ok, looking at doing the BB now on the WJ. F>R doesn't work due to the size and diameter of the fronts and rears are different after I stuck my head under the wj. So if the pucks don't get me enough clearance I'm wondering if since I have the 6 cylinder if I put some stock v8 springs if it might get me a little more umph to fit the tires? Or maybe if I could get away some springs from a 3 or 4 in lift, unless it might cause problems elsewhere such as brake lines or shocks. With the weather warming up slightly here and settled into the new house, might be time to start working on the 9er again too :D

V8 springs will not net you any lift. The I6 is an iron block, the 4.7 is aluminum. They weigh about the same. I wonder if the springs are even a different part number?

Found a pair of used rear 2" coil spacers! Now I'm in the market for some fronts! The WJ might be getting a small face lift :D

Decided to do a tuneup on the WJ this weekend. After a trip to AAP we had all the materials needed. Decided to swap the power steering fluid, anti freeze, washer fluid, transmission fluid, brake fluid, front diff fluid, air filter, tranny filter, fuel filter, brake pads, and rotors :D

The master list. Fluid swaps pretty self explanatory, used a manual pump and cycling of the engine to remove all the fluids.

Image

Popping the front diff off, looked great, no shavings, no drain plug...caught me off guard so I had to buy some RTV from AAP.

Close up.

After cleaning the entire inside plus the dremel.

And the housing + rtv.

Image

Onto the brakes. I had some MAJOR death wobblage when slwoing down between 55-45 so after pulling my rotors off there was noticeable wear. Decided to swap the front brake pads and rotors.

Image

New and shiny.

Image

Onto the fuel filter, which was a HUGE pain in the arse btw. It hides in the back up near the fuel tank. Make sure you have a nice big bucket because fuel is coming all over you :D

Image

And lastly the transmission fluid/filter swap which I've done once before on the 5.9.

Image

New filter on, good as new.

Pan cleaned and put back up.

Over all success, no leaks coming from any of the work done. A much needed late night of jeep work put in :D
