Ok so its been forever since I have been on here, life kinda took me away from here lately :( So if I see correctly GSNE is the last weekend in May correct??
I am going to try and attend in my XJ, but money has been UBER tight this past year, so that project is not near as far along as I had hoped. Soooo might need to hitch a ride in someones rig, if anyone has extra seat let me know!! :D If I attend will probably run greens and blues to save theXJ from carnage(i hope) as she is my daily rig and cant afford to have it down for any time. Thanks guys!!

Ok All, are the dates definate????

If so, someone should notify Rausch Creek (www.rc4x4.org) that we are coming that weekend, with a group of rigs (probably good to give an estimate). As of right now, there is nothing on the calendar there about GSNE 10.

BigD.

I dont have 31"s... Will that be a huge problem??
Hey guys, Sorry I've been gone for so long. I moved to Chicago for the last 10months and had to keep my nose/jeep clean.

Most of you who went would remember the BONESTOCK 96 Limited keeping up with the pack without too much trouble last year at Rausche so I would say stock tires will still let you have a fun time 235/75/16 FTW :emb:

Yeah, dates are set for this -- May 28, 29, 30.

We are going to try to keep the groups under 10 rigs and the rigs will be grouped together based on the trails they want to run (mild, moderate, hardcore, idontgivea****).

May 31 is Memorial Day, so we are planning on a full day of wheeling on Sunday since most of us can just head back on Monday. We aren't planning any Monday wheeling, but nothing is stopping you from organizing some with your friends.

If you are familiar with the park and wish to volunteer as a trail guide, let me or Sudz know since we're working on some of the logistics for this event now. I'd prefer to wheel with the idontgivea**** guys, but I have no problem leading another group for a day or so if necessary.

EDIT: Not sure if Sudz has called RC or not.

Hey everyone, Well its been like a month or so since ive been on here and its looking like you guys have everything under control. I was a trail guide and organizer last year at the event but this year I just dont have the time to help plan it. Im sure you guys gathered this after I didnt respond to your PM's for over a month lol. Sorry about that life has just been crazy.

Sudz, Yes the 5.9 is gone and I do plan on attending the event. I have an 04 LJ right now that im building up so ill be ready to wheel come May. Because of stuff going on in my personal life I have stepped down from my moderator positon here on NAGCA and sadly I am not able to help plan the fine details of the event with you guys. You gotta roll with the punches so im doing the best I can right now. You can certainly count me in for the event and if you want me to be a trail guide I can do that without a problem. Also, Dean is a close personal friend of mine as well as BigD's so I can give him a ring and talk to him about it. Being that he runs a business what were you guys looking at for paying him to photograph the event? He did it last year for us and did a fantastic job. The photos came out beautiful.

As a memo to everyone, again, I am really sorry about not being able to help plan the event. I really enjoyed doing it last year but it looks like you guys have enough cooks in the kitchen as it is ;) and Lord knows I cant cook haha!

I clearly remember the guide taking us up and to the left of a muddy-watery covered rock pit in which I was forced to blindly back up over rocks that I could see going foward. :p

(bearing cage cracked and next time we went up hill welll.... I didnt go up hill)

Wow, i'm glad to see this finally took off. A few years back I was the first(i think) admin for this after contacting somone about how there should be a GSNE, but college got the better of me. From now til Mid August I am working in Windsor Locks, CT and Hamilton Sundstrand, but then i head back to school at RIT.

I hope I can make it out to this but we'll see. All the money that's been going into the jeep is in necassary repairs, so I may not risk breaking anything and just wish you guys a good time.

Memorial day weekend is a huge beach party weekend here. I may make it for 1 day. I am going to be a game time decision.
Well I would def like to wheel with you again man! Nick, if you can make it you can make it. Dont kill yourself on trying to get everything done in time. Even if you wanted to come down and ride with someone im sure we could find room. Last year we had a really good turn out and im hoping the same for this year!

Some one who is going to 2010gsne.... someone tell me your not stoke?! I'm psyched. I would g in stock trim in a heartbeat.

It so happens that I coughed up the money for a 2"BB and 265/75/16s to make this trip a little more comfortable this time. Maybe I can airdown and not worry tooo much.

SO? WHO ELSE IS STOKED TO BE WHEELING SOON?!

i'm shooting for saturday only - i'll hang out at the campsite for a while after the ride to do some catching up with you guys

i gotta see the robotmobile in person and give joe's build the once over

Saturday Blue / Black Group

I plan to start out on the West property

J – 15 – 13B – 13A – 20 – 12B – 12C – dump out onto H - maybe run down to 18A - 18B

Break for lunch - Take trail requests

Boot Hill & Snake Bite are fun as hell – I’ve never done 22 – maybe try 23 (it’s a mud loop)

If time permits, scoot over to the east prop and run Crawler Ridge and Trail 2

Finish up in the comp area

Adjusted my front control arms and reinstalled the tc skid and front drive shaft today(no more vibes on the highway :)), also adjusted the front bumpstops so everything is pretty much ready to go. On that note, aside from checking fluid levels and making sure nuts and bolts are tight, is there anything else that gets overlooked or should be checked before rolling out? This will be my first wheeling trip I am travelling to, just trying to make sure it goes as smooth as possible.

Planning to pack in the morning and leave buffalo by 2. Should get there before dark. We might do the blacks on the east property on Friday (o trail, 5, yellowjacket, etc) and gauge it might do the blacks on the east property on Friday (o trail, 5, yellowjacket, etc) and gauge it from there.
