im thinking i want either the performance ignition set or a performance ecu tune. im leaning towards the ecu tune cuz i can't really resist the 20hp or whatever for that cheap. plus to be honest it's annoying bouncing off the speed limiter whenever i gun it on the highway. should i get the mopar performance ecu or that SCT tune? i dont know much about that but im looking to spend $200-300 and get cheap power but go in a promising direction. i already have the K&N II and a magnaflow performance cat back. so i figured either of these would be a good step. any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

where do you send the ecu, how much does it cost and how long does it take? what are the affects on fuel mileage? i want some more from my 5nine but i dont want my mileage to get worse.

Where can you order the Performance ECU's from? I have only ever seen them on here or ebay. My guess would probably be from a dealer but what do they want for one?

Mopar performance sells upgraded ECUs and so does Hughes engineering. Personally, Im going with the hughes because they can tailor it for what you have and what you want. You send them yours and they send you a tuned one.
Im going with a dual plane edelbrock, the injectors and exhuast with the ECU. Next year Ill pull the thing and have all the machine work done since it's pushing 200K. I really want the engine to hit 400HP on the dyno. That puts it about 320 at the wheels (20%loss) and I think I can hit about 420 tq at just over 2300 rpm. Perfect for wheeling. My axles won't live long after that but their destruction will be accompanied by the glorious sound of HP.

5.9 JGC upgrading suspension

I am planning on upgrading my suspension for my 2009 JGC 5.7 Hemi

I was planning on using the SRT8 parts and buying them from the Jeep Dealership. I am going to have them install too because I do not know what I am doing.

Now I am new at this, but I came from a VW Touareg V8 and it handled like a dream and it had good acceleration too. The new Jeep is faster :) However, it handles like a donkey. Even slow turns are bouncy and do not feel safe (sort of like a truck feels). Mind you that this Jeep has about 3200 Miles on it. Everything is new and shiny.

I want more sports performance out of my JGC.

So, my questions:

1. should I use the Mopar parts for the srt8 suspension ($1200 Installed)
2. should I even consider this upgrade? (I ask because 1. there may be something better and 2. Could I possibly void any warranty?)
3. Am I even in the correct place to ask this sort of question? :)

Thanks in advance for any help

Doug
