yeah,im anxious to finally do some mods again..last thing i did was the sliders.the list of things done is so much shorter than what needs/what i want done..

the other things to be done (hopefully)before spring are: adj. track bar, shocks, spacers, tires and kor bumper w/ tire carrier and skids.for the first part of spring i might just run a tow hitch for recovery if needed.

well...talking about adjustable track bars.just a lilttle bit ago, went out to move my jeep out of the driveway and as i started to back up and turn the wheel, there was a pop.will have to check it out in the morning.right now its dark and freezing.things i have heard it could be is a loose bolt on the track bar, loose bolt elsewhere, bad bushings.most say bolt for the track bar.

hopefully its just a loose bolt and i can keep my rig running until i can get an adjustable track bar.i will see tomorrow if i am able to order an adjustable track bar now or if i have to wait a little longer.

yeah i know.i think im the one that suggested that to you for something you wanted a while back.its just he wont ship it until its paid for.i might go ahead and start doing that though.it wont be too long before i get it.just have to get the long arms and axles first.waiting on the front kit to come in now and they will be put on.

i did the layaway thing. its easy

Sorry Hokie, you are right, you are the one that told me about it!! And I do appreciate that very much!! That is how I am going to get my KOR Trac bar conv. :) My son might do the same. Talk to so many people some times the conversations get all garbled in the brain!!

So how is Preppi coming with your ZJ?? And did you have any DW with the stock trac bar still in place??

no death wobble so far *knock on wood*

so far i have the rear kit at my house i ordered right after christmas.ordered some ballastic fab brackets for the rear axle and the front long arm kit both getting shipped to preppi for install.as soon as the front long arms come in,im heading up to preppis place to get this stuff done.

i talked to matt earlier today and he has a kor track bar conversion he is taking off his rig and selling.im going to get that front him, just have to buy some new bushings for it.i think its a bad bushing on the stock track bar.really after 100k miles,i think its time for a new one anyways.kor super hard durometer bushings will be on the way here soon.hopefully here in the next 2 weeks i will be rolling on long arms.

alright..little poll here.should i go with RE 4.5" springs or IRO 4.5" springs?im going to add 2" spacers to these.

I have been told that the RE springs ride a little nicer than the IRO ones, so if the little more money for the RE ones isn't an issue, thats what I'd go with.

Hokie how did/do you like your RC 4"? Did it ride ok? I am trying to decide on IRO 3.5 FtoR or the RC 4" with IRO TB Conv.

i like the rc kit.for a beginners kit,it has been good so far.fits 32s if you take off the front bumper(tried trimming and got tired of trimming, still rubbing, trimming, still rubbing, etc).i cant wait to see how things go with claytons kit.

wasnt able to get the axles loaded up today before i went into work so i might have to wait until monday to go up to Matts.still waiting on the front kit anyways so no biggie.

i have looked on RE's site and only see 4.5" rear springs.no 4.5" front springs.i do see 4" front springs though.i ordered some 2" teraflex spacers that were on discount so that helps a lot right now.only 5.80 a piece.20 bucks for a bb is a great deal.

im not too worried about a rough ride, thats what ive been driving for the past year or so.either way,it will still be better than my current setup.
