Hey guys, well im really considering NOT selling my ACOS that I have up front and transferring it to the rear but im not sure if its going to work or not? Does anyone have any experience with putting a front pair out back? I know you can get the rear TJ ones for the rear of the ZJ's but im not sure what to do, really its going to be taking it apart and checking but its a lot of work and I wanna see what the opinions and ideas are first. It would be nice because I could level the ZJ out on both sides in the rear, the tire carrier makes the one side sag like its got a bum leg

My BB boost blocks are all the same and fit front and rear with no problem so I would think that the ACOS should fit the rear also. I was actually looking through the Quadratec catalog last night and thought the same thing when I saw the ACOS listing in there.

Im really considering it, but wanted to know if anyone had done this before

I thought one of the issues was the lack of spring post length after you put them on.

Rear ACOS

I bought the KOR kit and wasn't happy with the steel tubing he sent for the post extension, so I made my own out of alumunim tubing with two holes tapped and driller for set screws that hold the new extensions to the OEM post. If I would do it again , I would buy the fronts from JKS and modify the the top piece to fit in the pinch seam, or cut the pinch seam out. This way you will also have spare pieces that you won't use on the rear (bump stops and some hardware) that you can use on the front ACOS if needed. PM if you have any questions about the details of my rear aluminum post extensions and install

from what I noticed on fuzzy's rear acos they just have a machine flat spot for the rear pinch seam, and an inner tube but it fits a little loose. It also doesn't have the round aluminum pieces for the bottom or the rubber dild0 for a bumpstop iether.

Thanks guys, I will post up what I find out. If I end up keeping them it wont be until spring, the weather is starting to suck hard over here and working in the driveway has its limitations
