WJ Jeep Thing (New Pic 5/1/19)
Here's my 2000 WJ Laredo.
That's right started running it in California and now I live in Illinois. So far I've been putting stuff on it while I can (more like afford). 2" BB with the upcountry gives me something between 3" and 2" of lift so that would be 2 1/2".
Rock rails were free of my boss's overland. Got JKS quicker discos, rear ADDCO sway, Limited head lights. Wilderness rack is second hand, sport'n the Harbor Freight & Tool "Farm Jack", the shovel was left behind by the previous homeowner. So budget build for sure. Now on to the pics.
Below is my first midwestern run where I discovered it's a little different than Cali. Good thing there is always someone there to take you pic. Lots of Wranglers in our club.

Now after I BOLTED on the plastic bumper I can wheel with more confidence. OEM plastic clips are a bad idea! Great pics of the WJ in these, Look I see Jack too!
Oh, the dew rag air filter is because my air box was full of muddy water. Almost hydro-locked it!

Here is our latest, our club was in a parade, the blue WJ's build is moving along faster than mine. Makes me want to go faster, but the house drains a lot of $$ 'cause I'm fixing it up too.

Well that's it for now, I'll build it up as I can. The WJ just graduated to a weekend vehicle with the addition of my wife's new um...minivan. Be gentle, I'll post as it improves.
