I want to do this mod but I am having trouble finding the manifold. I found a used one for 140 which is more than I wanted to spend for used but if its my only option then its my only option. So one way or another I'll be able to say if it works or not, hopefully next week sometime.

The newer manifold has equal (=) length runners so each cylinder is getting the same amount of air at the same time. I believe the runners are longer as well which will decrease the bottom end but increase the mid. Unfortunatly everthing I have done to the engine has decreased bottom end. At least the middle should be good though. It also has the potential to flow almost twice as much air as the older squared off unit. I should have one in by next week or the week after and we will see if there is any difference.
