A. why do you need to tap an inverter for another amp? B. Run new wiring, I'm sure they don't make the stock very beefy and I wouldn't run 2 amps off of what they have in there.

You do not need an inverter unless you are using a home stereo amplifier in your jeep. All car stereo amps are designed to run on a 12V system like your infinity does. You do need to run new wires for the new amp as you would not want to use the factory wires anyway if you were just replacing the infinity, forget about adding another amp to the wires.

Does anybody have a wire listing for a 1998 ZJ with infinity sound? I would seriously appreciate it!

Thanks,

Speaking of the Infinity Gold amp... I've been getting static from the driver's side tweeter after about 45 minutes of listening at high volume, when the amp is getting pretty hot. After I give it time to cool down and listen at a much lower volume, the problem is delayed, although it sometimes happens later during that ride (esp. problematic on long trips). Does this make sense? Does the driver's side tweeter have its own output from the amp?

Why would you put a line converter after a power amplifier when its going to just reduce it to under a watt anyways? if you are doing a line out converter, you need to tap into the wires as close to the source as possable (at the back of the deck) to reduce residual signal in the wire when the deck switches off. I pulled my deck to put my line converter right behind the deck. I also have an infinity gold system, well only the amp and deck is left. all new infinity kappa speekers
