Why is it that i have never seen any 6" springs on any grand cherokee, but i see 4.5" kits w/2"BB all the time.

4.5" is about the max you can lift a ZJ without getting into some tricky areas - such as added expense and safe handling.

Since most manufacturers want to avoid lawsuits, there's the limits.

You can get 6" springs - a number have done so, but they need to be custom ordered from a spring mfr.

I am at 5.5" fine. Some people just over look areas that need to be adressed when lifting. My only problems were death wobble but and adj trac bar up front from an XJ ($50) fixed it for the most part and can drive to school going 50mph while I wait for the rear adj trac bar to arrive.

I just bought 6" springs in the group buy over one JU, but i havent installed them yet. Im going to buy 3" fronts to go in the rears to match the 6". Oh by the way they are made by national spring which i think is skyjacker.

Skyjacker & Rockkrawler both have 6" coils that you can purchase. Rusty's has some 6.5" XJ coils which would give you 5.5"
