I have a beautiful set of 5 on 5 17" Rubicon rims. I would love to put them on my 95 ZJ with a 3.5" short arm lift. Are spacers even an option? Will it push my tires too far out? am I crazy to even think about it?
Here you go...yes..no..and..no. I have run those type wheels on several of my Jeeps because every JK owner gets rid of them for cheap don't know why but yes you can run a 265 series on a 3.5 lift with them and be fine. 285's and you will rub unless you cut your fenders. I ran adapters/spacers 1.5inch thick to take up so much of those wheels backspacing. No will not push them to far out they will come out even with the fender lip or maybe 1 inch outside the fender which is great. Go to EZAccessory.com and pick up all 4 for $150...you can't beat that.
