I have a front Dana 30 and a rear Dana 44 that is the aluminum housing, I want to put in a good dana 44 in the rear and put u-joint shafts in the front with front and rear lockers and out both 4.11 gears and bearings in them. I have seen ford rear ends on this site in jeeps, Any suggestions as to what I should run and not break the bank.

the ford 8.8 is one of the least expensive swaps you can do. even cheaper if you can weld.
you can pick them up for about $350.

Do you use the 8.8 in the rear if you do how much modyfying does it take to put in, is that what you mean by welding is using the mounts? What front do you use?

I have an 8.8 in the back and a Dana 30 with Warn hubs and shafts up front.

If you don't know what is involved with an axle swap, then you are not ready to tackle it yourself. Have a qualified shop take care of it.
