Someone suggested to disconnect only one side of the sway bar and I thought it was an idea worth pursuing. 1) It should be fast, 2) two people could share the price of a set, 3) the sway-bar will be held in position by the side that's still connected.
I've thought about his for a while and I'm trying to imagine how the bar would behave while the axle is flexed. If the rhs is connected and that side is drooped, won't the loose end of the bar tend to come down toward the stuffed axle? I think the answer is obviously yes, but would it be a bad thing? Is this why both sides are generally disconnected, because the loose end of the bar will interfere with the axle?
