Hey I'm looking to upgrade my 99 WJ suspension components. I want good on road handling, but also capable of going offroad when I need to. I'm not looking to spend a TON of money. I was looking at the Rancho RS5000 shock and steering damper with an addco swaybar. I don't know much about the springs. Any suggestions or thoughts about something else i should do?

i would only add a BB unless you want to spend the money on a full kit.

do plenty of research and don't cut any corners or it will bite you in the butt later, trust me. stay as far away from procrap as possible.

i think i'm going with the rs9000x shocks. Any tips on other things i should upgrade while i'm at it. I'm not lifting it.

Your stock shocks are just fine. I doubt they are worn enough to justify replacing them. The reason we change them is because the stockers are too short when you lift it.

Is that a front or rear addco?

Since you said you want it to be capable of going offroad I would highly recommend swaybar disconnects like the ones from JKS. Otherwise, the addco will totally defeat the purpose of everything else you do when offroad. Not to mention.... it'll beat you around like a stagecoach and lift tires off the ground like a dog next to a fire hydrant!
