I had a little accident that involved a high lift jack spearing my rear door. No comment on that, but... now I think it may have stressed the lock or something because now when driving, yes the door rattles a little and the liftgate open signal keeps going off and beeping like a son of a gun. Well. The door will lock and there is no problem with it coming open while driving, and it is kind of an off and on thing, but that infernal beeping sound. I will take apart the lock later and see what I can do, but for now, is there any way to disable the beep? Can I unhook the sensors that tell if my rear door is open? Any help please.

I suppose you could just cross the wires to the rear sensor so it thinks its always closed.. But thats a temporary fix, if that thing flies up on the freeway you've got a problem buddy :D
