I just bought new air filter Genuine Mopar Cabin Air Filter - 2.2L Turbo Diesel Engine - 68409880AB | Mopar Genuine Parts here for my Cherokee 2019. This is because I recently found out black areas on the section through which outside air enters. So I've decided to replace it.

Problem is, this will be my first DIY project during this quarantine and I don't know how to do it.

Anything you can share to me, things to avoid and proper tools needed?
I have replaced the cabin air filter in my GC twice in the 9 months I have owned it. It is so simple, anyone can do it if I can! All I did was got on YouTube and searched " replacing cabin air filter for Jeep grand cherokee summit " however I dont think you need to enter your specific trim even. Almost all those videos will walk you right through it! Takes about 5 minutes from start to finish. A flat blade screw driver comes in handy for prying a certain part of it off but I used a ball point pen lol.. (it was all I had handy!) Good luck and dont be nervous... just use caution, be gentle.
