so i left for school today in the morning at about 6:30 and it was about 50 degrees outside...well as i started up my jeep it started fine but then as i drove it would sputter a little bit....as i got on the highway i was driving about 70 and it started to sputter again, and once it totally died i had no throttle response when i held down the pedal for like 3-5 seconds then it kicked back into gear...it only happens when my engine is cold cause once i got it to about 180 degrees it ran fine on the way to school...could this be a fuel injection problem cause i have never got them cleaned or serviced since i bought the jeep at 66,000 miles and i now have 140,000 but i use the fuel injection cleaner probably twice a month....any help will be awesome...

thanx but i actually changed the crank sensor like three months ago....

When was the last tune up? Maybe a fuel filter or fuel pump if the tune up was recent.

yeah the tune up was probably about two to three months ago....i just don't want to spend a bunch of money on like a fuel pump or filter cause in the 97 you have to drop that tank to change it so...
