I have a 2001 WJ with 245 tires and I was wondering if I would have to do anything else when adding spacers. Would I come across any issues just adding spacers no other mods. Anyone have any pics of this done, no lift or anything? I am also looking for any ideas on other mods to do. Im a college kid so im not flowing with money, im just trying to give the jeep a more rugged look. So far i've just got rid of all the chrome and replaced it with black and gone from the 235 to 245 tires.

Bur, I did the spacers on my 2002 GC 4X4 Ltd and used the stock shocks. The install went off without issues and I was very pleased with the results. I think it still to this day rides nicer than my 05.

By spacers, are you talking about spring spacers for lift, or wheel spacers for a wider stance?

If you are talking about spring spacers, you should also install longer shocks. You might be able to get away with the stock shocks on the road, but you could destroy them offroad as they are not long enough.
