what brand do you rec? My good friend used Ranchos on his ride, and the struts went out in less than a year with normal use (street and freeway), but the shocks lasted quite a while longer...

Any ideas on what to get?


Also, when/if I do a 2" BB, I was told that the stock length shocks would work fine (just would not give as good a travel)...

Old Man Emu (OME) shocks are great bangs for your bucks. i have never heard a bad word spoken about them.

and you should be good with 2" bb on stock height shocks. i have a 2" bb with the stock shocks and i haven't noticed a change in ride quality.

nothing i've come across. except for the fact that once i got it on i wanted to go bigger asap lol

So you may want to wait untill you can aford a real lift! LOL 3" and up.And it's always a good Idea to buy longer shocks.
