Probably not too much of a difference. I'd imagine you'd probably get a little more flex with the new springs though. If Rusty's springs are like most other lift springs, they will most likely also firm up the relatively plush stock ride. A BB may not make the ride rough, but it won't firm it up either. Either way, shock selection (limiting travel), disconnecting the front swaybar (assisting wheel flex), and changes in the trackbar will have just as much of an effect on offroad perfomance. If it comes down to price, just get the BB. If price is not an option, go with the springs/shocks. Either way, chances are once you see you're jeep lifted, you'll want both the springs and BB in there.

I say just go with the BB b/c it has a few advantages.

It's cheaper.

You'll have more money for shocks (if you want them... I never changed mine with just a BB).

You'll most likely want more later on, and you can reuse the bb on top of taller springs OR you can sell them to another Jeeper just getting into lifting their Jeep to offset the cost of new springs/etc.

I have the Rusty's kit and I like it a lot. My ride was actually a little softer than stock was, but I changed out at rougly 78,000 miles so the shocks were dead. Once I added my BFG's, it seemed to make it feel more firmly planted due to the weight of the tire. And remember, the kit comes with shocks and for me was about $450 shipped to my door. All in all, I am very pleased with it so far. Here is a small pic of what it would look like.

Not the best pics, but the computer crashed and haven't had time to update my webshots. Doesn't do to bad for a just 2 1/2" and trust me, it has been flexed a heck of a lot harder than that. Sorry, I do not have experience with BB's, I needed new shocks and wanted a lift so figured what the heck and got the Rusty's kit. Hope this helps a little.
