About a month ago I started having problems with my oil pressure. When I would come to a complete stop after driving for a while, the oil pressure would drop to zero. As soon as I started moving again it would return to proper operating pressure. But when the pressure dropped I could notice no knocking or abnormal sounds coming from the engine. I replaced the oil pressure switch and changed the oil and did not have any problems at all out of it for about 3 weeks. Then a few days ago it started doing it again, this time only after I had been driving on the highway for a while and then stopped. Any Ideas what this could be? I thought it might be the oil pump, but when your oil pump goes out, it doesn't work at all anymore right? I am not leaking oil anywhere that I can tell, so I don't think I'm losing pressure that way and I have checked the oil regularly and I am not burning oil either.
