I'm in the same "boat" as Lancaster. After finally getting the ZJ pieced back together in the past three months, I took it out for a "light shakedown" run. Unfortunately that involved the Jeep going for a little swim. Now plagued with multiple electrical problems and a front diff that had better days, I'm considering selling or parting it out since I simply don't have the money right now to put into it. Worst part is whatever I replace it with would involve going back to stock for quite a while until funds become available. Mind you this is my DD and since it's been in the shop more than it's been out these days, I've had to rely on mom to drive me around in her Chevy Tracker. Jeez, how old am I? I'm still trying to remain optimistic that I'll make it out to RC at least once with it before I get rid of it. We will see.

 

That is horrible. What happened to everyone else that wanted to to Rausch Creek last month and couldn't go with us? Where are you guys?

I personally dont like wheeling with feet of snow on the ground but I'd be interested in a run maybe in the late winter/spring so maybe another one after this? I just cant drive allthe way to PA wheel an then drive home if i break im screwed if I could land a trailer for the trip now thats another story!!!

 

the 95 is off the road and is soon to have front and rear locked 44's, longarms, and 35's....but no more winter runs for me, i dislike the snow and ice at rausch now...

Gaze, personnally right now I am thinking of Rausch creek. The Pa all breeds Jeep show would be a cool place for us all to meet also, but isn't an actual trail day, just a show and BS day. That is in York,Pa usually in July. Have to get the definate date on that yet.

Nerk, Got your PM and let me know what you think, when and where. The more input and planning we have the better this will go .

i am ok with rausch... its about 5hrs from me. i have a little bit of wheelin in my area, but we could do all of it in an afternoon and the guys with the more extreme rigs would probably be pretty bored. if there is interest in anyone coming to this area (western mass), i can check around for other trails, but most everything is being closed. land use is a really big thing here.
