Here's some pics of my '93 Laredo. I've still got to fabricate a front bumper and put some paint on it, but hunting season is only a couple weeks away. The bumper and paint will have to wait till Spring.

I'm running a 4.6L Stroker with a Comp Cam. I recently installed NP 242 transfer case and a Trac-Loc Limited Slip rear diff. It's got Rancho 5000 Off-Road Shocks and a 2 inch lift with 31 - 10.50 X 15 Mudder Maxxis Tires. Also, a Rancho 5000 steering stabilizer. I'm running the stock 3:55 axles.

Next, is a 2.5 inch exhaust.

Did ya have the small moulding on the sides or the big ones like 995 of the ZJs out there? I have a 93 also, same color as yours, minus my hoods faded out. Looks like a nice rig, How ya like that stroker? im thinkin of doin the same thing to mine when it dies some day.

Nice jeep! i think for the money and time invested into a stroker you coulda got a V8 and dropped it in, more power and more torque....yay for the V8 ZJ's [smilie=bal_cool.gif] [smilie=1zj2 (1).gif]

I was wondering when someone would notice the XJ wheels. I like them too.

The stroker is just plain awesome. You can not believe the difference in torque and power. I would compare it to a V8, but with better fuel mileage. Fuel mileage is still good. I lost about one mpg.

The stroker was easy to build. I just used a 258 crank and rods I had on hand. You also have to either make or buy a spacer for the harmonic balancer. Most 258 cranks are about 1/4'' longer in the nose where the balancer mounts. Other than that everything is the same as any 4.0L.

Mine had the big cladding on it. I just didn't like it. I thought it took away from the looks.

Unless I'm missreading this guys' numbers, the 4.6 Stroker takes the 5.2 and the 5.9 by a good 20-25 hp. Not quite as much torque as the 5.9, but pretty close. His stroker ran 0-60 in 5.7 seconds. I forgot though that it is an XJ he modified. Check me though....heres the link to his really good website http://jeep4.0performance.4mg.com/mods.html

I used to have in 3 inch lettering on the back of my glass on one of my ZJ's it said Lowriders are for boys who cant get it up i got a lot of nasty notes left on my windshield and a couple of scratches also but i think it was worth it. I remember one of the notes somebody left was like suv's are for bitc#es that cant afford lowriders i was like hey what is your sticker price and what is mine :p

Those wheels remind me of the ones I used to have on my 83 Ramcharger.

They look great.
