City now averaging around 19 MPG since changing fuel filter.
no difference to highway MPG (26-29).
got 18.7 MPG hauling 1.3 Ton caravan over 455 miles.
All worked out by fuel added at pump and millage travelled.
Just lifted my 96 Limited 5.2 2.25 inches and put on 31inch all terrains went from 18 mpg to 13 but a load more fun . My sons 94 Limited on 33's w/5.2 gets 8 but it has 235000 miles and needs an o2 sensor replaced
I am in the PCM relearning process. I have topped out on highway at about 25-28mpg on the little readout. Last Tank before the muffler install was about 22-25mpg highway on the readout and full tank average of 16.7mpg.
My engine has a slight hesitation and PCM is figuring it out. I am hoping to get a better read on the current state of things in a few weeks.
My new engine seems to be running a little better. We'll see what kind of mileage it yields. I was averaging about 6 mpg before. That's all wheeling miles though. And DiangMaing, a couple of things, it's cool to see another NWI guy in here. Also, don't always believe the overhead. Mine consistently reads about 2-3 mpg higher than I'm actually getting.
I do a little better than 325 miles per tank, mixed driving but mostly heavy on the foot unless I'm cruising. Yesterday I did a 102 mile round trip to the pick a part on slightly less than 1/4 tank of gas... (From 3/4 full to just above halfway mark)
1993 4.0 Laredo stock with 235/75/15's
My timing chain is so stretched I'd swear I'm doing better than the window sticker advertised
