Hello all my name is jacob. I just purchased a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Special Edition. Its in excellent condition and has 38000 miles. Ok so I'm new to jeeps and the forum. I however am not new to cars. I had/have a 97 honda civic with some modifications.

So i have a plan for the jeep. I wanna lift it a couple inches and put some 20's or 22's with a mud tire. I also wanna add push bars and nurf bars/running boards and do a few more things to it. if any one wants to help a newbie out with some info or facts or places to get parts. I would def. appreciate it.

Welcome to the site! I would recommend checking out peoples rigs and doing some research/check things out. Post some pics of what you are speaking of!

are you planning on it just being a DD or are you wanting to take it offroad? if your going offroad may want to ditch the idea of the bling bling wheels..for how much they will cost they will get scratched..same question applies to the running boards..now if your just going for show theres a guy on here thats about to take off his freedom side steps and he mentioned he wanted to sell it i think..oh and post some pics of the jeep

20" or 22" wheels with mud tires would look foolish unless the tires were about 40". Better to stick in the 15"-17" wheel range and 31"-32" tires which will fit with a couple inches (or so) of lift.

Right now I'm out but ill post pics as soon as possible. I want it to be show but still able to go off road. The rims have to have dish and shine a pair of 20 in burlwood asantis the interior must be fresh while the outside is rugid

I think it will look good if you are just going to DD it without wheeling. I say be different and go for it

No no wheeling. I want it capable of going off road but I want it to look good and fresh. Clean.
