that or just take a few bolts out and see if it will seep out..if not you might as well take it off, clean it, new filter, new fluid...new gasket ...the whole shibang

I pumped the right amount out so its good level wise right now.

when you pull the pan, it wouldn't be a bad idea to add a drain plug, you can pick one up at your local autozone or w/e.

 

Why not just disconnect the cooler line and let some flow out (not with the vehicle on unless you want a bath) or even remove the dipstick tube and let some flow out of there.

An over filled tranny will overheat and fall apart with too much fluid in it. It will actually burn up cluth packs faster than you'd think, so get it taken care of and don't drive it.

 

lol i did the same thing and i just fed a tube down the dipstick hole and pumped some out. the pump died on me so i just put my thumb over the tube and just took some out. worked good for me. [smilie=bal_ask.gif]

 

Actually, to much fluid in your tranny will make the fluid foam, not being able to be sucked up by the pump, actually worse than to little fluid. Disconnect the tranny line, lots easier.

 

Go to the dollar store and get a turkey baster. Tape it to a tube suck some fluid out of the dipstick. The entire setup is less than $2. Also those little red hand pumps are under $10.00.

 

yea, you can loosen the cooling line and let some leak out. make sure you try and let it drip in a cup or something so you know how much you have let out.

 

I dont konw if yall read my 2nd post but i said i got it out with pump and some tubing i had around the house
