Tranny was low on dipstick...thought no biggy got some aft+4 (4.7) and then added some, check again about 2 minuets later and it barley moved so then i added more....

Shifts better then before but its pretty far over. I had my suspicions then found some air bubbles on dipstick..

How can i get some of it out with out with out admitting defeat and going to tranny shop or something.

I let her go pretty wide open and the shifts were right on and smoth...im surprised it wasnt slipping at all.

take the pan off. let the fluid drain out. refill.
that or just take a few bolts out and see if it will seep out..if not you might as well take it off, clean it, new filter, new fluid...new gasket ...the whole shibang
Agreed, next weekend im going to do 30k service and i will do all that

I pumped the right amount out so its good level wise right now.

thanks fellers

Why not just disconnect the cooler line and let some flow out (not with the vehicle on unless you want a bath) or even remove the dipstick tube and let some flow out of there.

An over filled tranny will overheat and fall apart with too much fluid in it. It will actually burn up cluth packs faster than you'd think, so get it taken care of and don't drive it.

Actually, to much fluid in your tranny will make the fluid foam, not being able to be sucked up by the pump, actually worse than to little fluid. Disconnect the tranny line, lots easier.
