If it is a ZJ just after it is started and all and is just flashing back and forth, hit select to go to the screen where it says 0 miles to service and then hold down set it will then reset to the default number. Oh and now mine has 203000 miles on it, the original motor.

Just rolled over 85K on my 98ZJ still running like new with the I-6. I cant understand why DC wants to stop producing this engine its one of the most reliable on the market.............. :-(
You hit it right on the head! Too reliable.

100,000 on the 5.9
Too many problems to list, now it's starting to rust out; doors, hood, tailgate...

The most entertaining failure was when the second heater core blew out or was it cracked heads? At least the new heads solved the 2 year pinging issue I had.

my 93 I6 limited has 167,000 runs good other then an overheating problem I think I need to have a 3 core metal radiator swapped in.
Before you waste your money. I put in a 180* stat and a new 2 row radiator and a electric aux fan and it never goes over 190*ish (checked with a digital reader). But, with A/C at a stop, after 10min or so, it does creep up over the 210*. I also added a HD fan clutch too.

You should look into these items also. A thermo stat is a cheap replacement. Even a radiator cap is cheap too!

I'm up to 100K on my 98 GC 4x4 I-6 and no problems. Just had the rear diff fluid changed and new seal, also, tune up and tranny flush. Running like new, a few squeaks but no big deal, best vehicle Ive owned, and Ive owned at least 15 different autos......... She is paid for and Im about to put her up for 21 months waiting for the wifes lease to end so she can take her over. Ive been driving my rubicon unlimited. The rubi is nice but i think im a GC kinda guy.....cant take for the confort level of the GC and the AC is ICE COLD!!! unlike the rubi......but they both have their +/-.....Ive been seeing so many New GC on the road, they must be very popular of course DCX just started employee pricing so im sure that will help also......

Always wanted one now i know why

My 94 g.c. v-8 46rh with 249 transfer cars has 224,500 miles. Bought it used, with all repair records. Still needs some things done. Ihave done a tue-up, replaced a water pump, qne started on the front end. Would replacing the 249 with a 231 be a day project, and can I use my stock drive lines?
