I have to say a huge thank you to Nate for all of his hard work and planning. It was so much fun, partly because it was so organized. He took the time to map out trails, ran each one before hand to get a good feel for the trail rating and choosing trails that had turnouts for sissys like me. Each day was planned perfectly from AM-PM. Down to the last detail, the dinner. THANKS NATE YOU DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB. Unfortunately all of us aren't as good as we would like to be about showing up on time so some people had to wait for others, Thanks everyone for their patience.

Thanks to the trail leaders Nate, and Tracy you guys did a great job making sure everyone was together, safe, and always aware of the trails obsticles, and turn outs. (My jeep thanks you for that.)

Thank you to Jay and Niko who took up the rear, giving his support to everyone with his kind words, expert advice and patience, lots of patience.

Thanks to Corey for video taping all of us without you we would only have pictures.

Thanks to Clay for getting us a campsite where we could all fit and setting up the restroom, hot shower, & street lights, they were a very nice touch. Also for bringing his very nice camera and risking his life to take pictures of each and every one of us.

Only a few minor mishaps:

1st Melissa (that's me) hit my diff on a rock, causing it to leak. Thanks to my husband for getting down in the dirt to fix it

and whoever got us the hammers so quickly to pound it back in. & to Christy & Corey for the bar of soap. We will be mailing you a new one
2nd me again. My first dent and scratch, ooops

3rd Clay stuck on the Rock Garden had to winch off
4th Ramons son fell off rock and had to go to hospital for 9 stitches.
5th Deb broke rear track bar bracket (By majority vote, Clay loosened it on the rock garden and Deb was unfortunately driving when it finally broke.)
6th which was the last thing I know about. Kelly's power steering pump went out and they changed it out in the middle of the forest, in record time I believe
Not too bad for a three day trip and 16 rigs.
Oh yeah: 7th when the park rangers came down to tell us to put out the camp fire, I have never seen so many people scatter so quickly

Mike & Tracy did you really go knock on other campsite tents pretending you were park rangers???

Thanks again to all of our sponsors, everyone really appreciated your generous donations.

NOW, where are those great pictures Clay?

I had so much fun this weekend at GSNW. Everyone was so great and I really enjoyed meeting & wheeling with you all. I hate to wait another year to see everyone, a few of you maybe feel diffrently, but here is an idea.
Mike and I have gone to Operation Shore patrol in the past and really enjoyed giving back. This year is the 31st year the Timber Tamers will be hosting the event, September 21st-22nd. You can camp at the state park where they reserve the park for the weekend or you can get a hotel in town. Ocean Shores is beautiful at this time of the year.
Unfortunately there are hardly ever any Grand Cherokees there. Since everyone thinks that we are so stuck up, which after this weekend I can just not see, I think it would be great if we made a huge showing this year. Everyone is welcome to come, come alone, with friends, or your entire family. A BBQ dinner is provided on Saturday and a pancake breakfast on Sunday. There are a lot of really cool people there and I think everyone would have alot of fun. The last time I went I was 8 1/2 months pregnant and still camped and cleaned up the beach. This is a really fun way to give back and spend a weekend with fellow jeepers and 4x4's.
We plan on leaving from Redmond about 12:00 on Friday September 20th. If anyone would like to caravan down that would be really cool. It isn't too far for you Oregon folks either, so maybe you can get your own group together. Anyone interested???

The pictures look great Melissa. Sure, Mike and I messed with a couple tents. :hammer: Then again, after a few to drink, it might of been our own tents.

Anyway, it was great to meet everyone. I had a lot of fun and enjoyed leading on Saturday.
