Long story short...I havnt had my stock fog lights hooked up in quite some time due to not using the front bumper. I got a new front bumper and mounted 2 aftermarket lights on it. I used the stock fog light wires and just hooked them into the aftermarket ones. Got done....they dont work. Is there a fuse for them or something that I am missing? The light in the fog lamp button on the dash doesnt come on either when pushed. Im stumped. And yes, I did scrape the prongs in the plugs as to ensure contact. Pic below shows em.

Dont know what happened but they started working. Wierd.

Later that night when my automatic lights clicked on, they came on with it and have worked ever since.

Just with the automatic lights or even when you switch them on?

They came on at dusk with the automatics. After that I am able to turn them on and off with the button the dash.

Would say that your lights have to be on for the fogs to be on too. If you are using the existing wiring that's how they work. You cannot turn on the fogs just by themselfs.
