Hey folks,

I'm replacing the engine in my '99 Grand Cherokee (4.0L). In our haste to beat the rain today (doing it all outside) we forgot to install the dust cover between the motor and the flywheel when we bolted the engine in. How much of a problem could this cause if I don't put it in? Really not looking forward to unbolting the bell housing again, but will if I have to.

Thanks

not sure but it dose act as a spacer so may effect the torque convertor oil feed. I am sure someone with more knowledge will be able to answer you :)
